Breakthrough offers a sports program to engage young athletes in year-round leagues while teaching sportsmanship and promoting healthy lifestyles.
You can help make every season a success for hundreds of young athletes through one of our league or team sponsorship opportunities.
Breakthrough Sports started in 2001 with 12 teams. Now, with more than 60 teams, we hope to continue expanding by engaging approximately 1,060 youth each year.

The annual Breakthrough Sports budget is approximately $118,000.
This budget covers facility rentals, administration, training costs, equipment and uniforms ... as well as league and tournament entry fees.
The support of local community businesses is necessary for us to continue the cultivation of our young leaders in East Garfield Park.
