We welcome new volunteers to partner with us in our ministry to overcome poverty, addiction, and isolation in our community.

Manna Ministry
Provide, prepare, and serve meals to approximately 30 homeless guests. Great for small groups! |
Tutoring
Tutor youth in the Nettie Bailey Student Achievement Program. |
Community Threads
Let your volunteer hours translate into actual dollars back to Breakthrough at Community Threads Non-Profit Thriftstore in Buffalo Grove. |
Street Outreach
Reach out to women in crisis on the street. |
Pre-school Teaching
Assist the teachers in the Breakthrough Beginners Program. |
Coaching
Mentor youth through a variety of seasonal sports. |
Fresh Market
Work alongside members of the community in Breakthrough's client choice food pantry to help guests overcome hunger and cycles of poverty. |
Life Transforming Skills
Help guests develop skills toward stable employment or healthy lifestyles. |
