Our Holiday Service Events provide those who may not be able to commit to serving on a weekly or monthly basis an opportunity to volunteer for a day.

December 10th: Fresh Market Food Delivery to Senior Adults
Fresh Market Food Delivery to Senior Adults. In conjunction with the Fresh Market, deliver Fresh Market groceries, as well as Christmas cookies, to adult residents of a nearby senior building. Volunteers provide Christmas cookies..
December 12th:
Brighten the season for the 17 preschool students in Breakthrough Beginners (10 girls, 7 boys) with a shoe box filled with small gifts! Possible items to include in the shoe box are: winter hat/mittens, preschool activity books, crayons, alphabet flash cards, small toys, candy, and stickers. Boxes are needed by Monday, December 12..
December 16th: Spa Day with the women of Breakthrough’s Joshua Center
Join the fun at the Joshua Center! Professionals and non-professionals are welcome to join us for nail painting, hair styling, facials and more as we pamper the guests. Not into beauty treatments? Bring an appetizer or holiday treat and share in this time of fellowship. (Spa Day is held on the third Friday of each month from 9:00-3:00pm).
December 16 or 17: Do you love to bake?
Provide holiday treats for the Christmas Store! Items can be dropped off December 16 or 17.
December 17: Volunteer at the Breakthrough Christmas Store!
Groups and individuals are encouraged to bring donations of new toys and gifts. Please see the Target and Walmart Wish Lists for ideas!
December 18, 7-9am: Manna Ministry, Breakfast
Provide, prepare, and serve breakfast to 30 guests at the Joshua Center women.
December 18, 11am-1pm: Manna Ministry, Lunch
Provide, prepare, and serve lunch to 30 guests at the Breakthrough Ministry Center.
December 21, 5pm: Breakthrough Youth and Families Christmas Party.
Provide a meal and enjoy a time of fellowship and celebration with the students and families of Breakthrough at the annual Christmas Party! 175 people are expected to attend this wonderful event.
December 22 or 23: Bean bag tournament with the men of Breakthrough!
Come enjoy a time of fellowship and friendly competition by hosting a bean bag tournament at the Breakthrough Ministry Center.
